Peter and Andrew Brandt had the idea to provide collection points around Glen Lake where people who are leaving their vacations can donate unopen non-perishable food items. They came up with the idea last fall when they were leaving for the summer and they were helping their family get rid of a lot of perfectly good food.  We partner with the Empire Area Food Pantry to distribute these food items.
